We salute you Lisa Dunn Alford! Lisa is a kind compassionate warrior..
She is always willing to assist our seniors in church and in the community as well. She keeps us informed of what’s happening to make life easier for care givers an senior adults as well. Prior to Covid we had the pleasure of seeing her smile during Sunday Morning Worship Service and bless us with her beautiful voice as an active member of the Joyful Praise Ensemble. When she greets our seniors they always feel the love, she makes us all smile! Her work in the community is well documented as she has received honors and accommodations. She wears many hats and serves on several boards.
Her love for God and Family is most important! She is the wife of Dr. Deacon Keith Alford and they are the proud parents of one son Caleb.
Bethany thanks you for being an agent of change and a role model for girls and women alike. Thank you for making a difference. Our community is better because of you!

Shirley Rowser is a Personnel Analyst/Career Ladder Coordinator and has been working for the SCSD since 2014. She is also an alumna, graduating from Central Technical High School (We Are ITC) in 1973! “When the opportunity presented itself, I decided what better place to end my work career than where I started, thus bringing my SCSD life full circle,” Shirley said. “As the Personnel Analyst/Career Ladder Coordinator, I have the opportunity to share my story about my time as a student at SCSD, share my relationships with both my 3rd teacher and 11th grade teacher [both pictured here] even to this day, my previous 30+ year career at United Technologies Corporation, and how instrumental SCSD was in preparing me for that work journey through its Business Program (similar to today's SCSD Career & Technical Education programs). I also share how I took advantage of my organization's Career Ladder Program. The intent of my sharing is to inspire others to know that we can do all sorts of things when we put sweat equity into it.” #WeAreSCSD
